Are you an experienced Tissue Viability clinician ready to lead, influence and shape the future of specialist services?

We are looking for an exceptional clinical leader to join our Long Term Conditions Division as Clinical Lead for Tissue Viability.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate clinician to provide professional and clinical leadership for a specialist service that plays a vital role in improving patient outcomes across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

As our Clinical Lead, you will be the clinical authority for Tissue Viability, helping to drive excellence in care, support service transformation, develop clinical pathways and champion best practice across the organisation and wider healthcare system.

Working within our collaborative leadership model alongside the Operational Lead and Quality Matron, you will help shape the future of the service, improve patient experience and outcomes, and support our workforce to deliver outstanding, evidence-based care.

Main duties of the job
This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic leadership with expert clinical practice.

You will:

• Provide professional and clinical leadership for the Tissue Viability Service.
• Lead the development and implementation of clinical pathways and models of care.
• Drive quality improvement, innovation and service transformation.
• Support workforce development, professional standards and clinical supervision.
• Act as a key clinical advisor across Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and partner organisations.
• Represent the service within local, regional and national networks.
• Maintain a clinical caseload and provide highly specialist assessment, advice and support for complex patients.
• Lead on the implementation of evidence-based practice, research and innovation within the service.
• Work collaboratively across organisational boundaries to improve patient pathways and experiences.

This is a highly visible leadership role where you will have the opportunity to influence how Tissue Viability services develop across the system.

Across Hampshire, our community hospitals provide inpatient rehabilitation as a step down from acute care, and our dedicated teams also staff Treetops Sexual Assault Referral Centre in Portsmouth, offering expert, compassionate support.

Qualifications
Essential

• A registered healthcare professional with current professional registration (NMC, HCPC, GMC or equivalent).
• Educated to Master's level or able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
• Holder of a recognised post-registration qualification in Tissue Viability/Wound Care.
• An experienced Tissue Viability specialist with significant clinical expertise.
• An effective and inspiring leader with experience of clinical supervision, mentorship and workforce development.
• Experienced in clinical audit, service improvement and pathway development.
• Skilled in working across organisational and professional boundaries.
• Passionate about delivering person-centred, evidence-based care.
• A confident communicator who can engage, influence and support teams through change.
