Job summary
We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, creative, positive and motivated Mental Health Practitioner to join our Community Mental Health Service on the Isle of Wight.

This is an exciting time to join CMHS as we have started working in a locality model, working more closely with physical health services to best support our communities in an integrated and multidisciplinary way.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team managing a caseload of people with complex mental health needs and offering evidence based interventions.

The post holder will be responsible, together with the wider team, for providing care, interventions and health promotion to people with severe mental health problems in the community.

The post holder will also undertake a supervisory role in respect to multi disciplinary junior team members and work alongside the Team Leader on clinical issues such as therapeutic approaches and care co ordination. The post holder will also be expected to work as an autonomous practitioner, as well as taking all opportunities to become actively involved in training and teaching programmes, both within the Trust and the wider community.

If this sounds like the role for you then please apply today!

Main duties of the job
