At Firvale we provide continuing care for children and young people with complex health needs and learning disabilities within a homely environment.
We are looking for enthusiastic forward thinking Paediatric or Learning Disability nurse ideally community experience, keen to develop their skills working with staff, families, children and young people with a wide variety of complex health conditions.
Main duties of the jobA key aspect of this role is maintaining high quality care in a positive, stimulating and safe environment. You would be one of the staff nurses working in the four bedded health unit focusing on delivering high quality clinical care for children with complex health needs in our health team.
We will offer you clinical supervision, regular appraisal, training and support in achieving your personal development plan as well as peer support from colleagues in similar roles. Child health will ensure excellent development opportunities and a range of expertise for advice and support in your role.

Person SpecificationTraining and Qualifications- Professional UK registration e.g RSCN ; RN - Child ; RN - Learning Disability
Experience and Knowledge- Experience of working in an acute paediatric healthcare environment or residential care settings e.g. children's hospice, planned respite unit or special school settings.
Skills and Abilities- Clinical skills that are appropriate to relevant area.
