Job summaryThe Cardiac Investigations Unit at Hampshire Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking 1 x Senior Cardiac Physiologist/Cardiac Clinical Scientist specialised in
Invasive Cardiology and CRM.This roles is required to help support the expansion of our service - we have recently opened the Hampshire Hospitals Heart Centre, which is a newly built cath lab unit with two cardiac catheter labs and a 10 bed day case unit. We have also run an Electrophysiology and Ablation service. This role requires cross site working across our 3 HHFT sites in Basingstoke, Andover and Winchester.
We are a dynamic and enthusiastic team of staff working across our hospitals, in a rapidly expanding investigations department which has a strong education and training programme.
An annual review R&R bonus is available for the successful candidates.
Main duties of the job- Contribute to the delivery of a high-quality cardiac investigation service, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and adherence to best practice standards.
- Active participation in procedures within the coronary cath laboratory.
- Direct involvement in the implantation of cardiac devices, including pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).
- Supporting 24/7 coverage, working as part of a team covering the Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) on-call rota.
- Supporting the delivery of pacing clinics and managing patient follow-up, both in-person and through remote consultations.

Clinical SkillsEssential- Minimum 1 year clinical cardiac physiology experience
- Previous physiology experience in cath lab for angiography and pacing
- Previous experience in pacing follow up
Desirable- Previous experience with remote follow up
- Previous experience on PPCI rota
General SkillsEssential- Demonstrate a good command of the English Language both written and verbal
