The Healthcare Management Trust (HMT) is seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking
Clinical Deputy Manager to join our state-of-the-art team at
HMT Norden House.
Located in the picturesque village of Climping near the beach, Norden House is a luxury, purpose-built facility designed around the ground-breaking Hogeweyk dementia village model. In this vital role, you will champion clinical excellence, inspire our unique household teams, and directly embed our
HMT Clinical Practice Framework.
What You Will Do- Drive Clinical Excellence: Lead practice audits, manage clinical risks, and champion the HMT Quality Framework.
- Pioneer Dementia Care: Deliver our Dementia Strategy and frailty prevention programmes using the MAGIC Model.
- Lead & Mentor: Supervise household nursing staff, support student nurse placements, and deliver targeted team coaching.
- Collaborate for Wellbeing: Work closely with Therapists and Care Team Leads on active rehabilitation and meaningful resident activities.
- Ensure Governance & Safety: Manage CQC compliance, safeguarding (DoLS/MCA), and represent the home in clinical governance meetings.
- Step Up: Assume overall management of the home in the absence of the Area Manager and join the rotational on-call rota.
What You Bring (Requirements)- Qualifications: Valid NMC Registration as a Registered Nurse ( Essential) with a Leadership Qualification ( Desirable).
- Clinical Knowledge: Full understanding of CQC regulations, Health & Social Care Act, and GDPR.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to delegate, motivate, resolve conflicts, and analyse audit data.
- Care Standards: Strong background in safeguarding vulnerable adults, DoLS, and the Mental Capacity Act.
- Commitment: Dedication to continuous professional development, PREP, and NMC revalidation.
