Role Overview
This pivotal role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute your nursing expertise on a flexible basis. As a Bank Registered Nurse, you will support our clinical team by delivering exceptional nursing care to our patients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at every stage of their journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with hospice policies and professional standards.
• Assess patient needs and develop personalised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Monitor and record patient conditions, responding promptly to any changes or concerns.
• Administer medication safely and accurately, maintaining all necessary documentation.
• Offer emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organisational policies, including safeguarding and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience

• Registered Nurse (RN) with current NMC registration.
• Previous experience in palliative or hospice care is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate, patient-centred approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts as required by the bank contract.
