Job summaryWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Pharmacist
Independent Prescriber to join our team. This is a patient-facing role suited
to a confident clinician who is comfortable working autonomously and managing a
wide range of presentations within primary care.
Main duties of the job- Independently assess, diagnose, and manage patients, including those presenting with undifferentiated conditions
- Prescribe safely and effectively within scope of practice
- Manage acute and chronic conditions in line with current clinical guidelines
- Work autonomously while contributing to the wider multidisciplinary team
- Support and deliver high-quality patient care within a busy practice environment
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of QOF (Quality and Outcomes Framework) and QIF (Quality Improvement Framework)
- Contribute to achieving practice targets and supporting day-to-day operational and clinical matters
- Provide clinical support and advice to colleagues where appropriate

Our practice has first-rate support from a very dedicated admin and management staff as well as PCN support. Dedicated and highly skilled nursing and Healthcare assistant team. High QOF and IIF achieving practice. Training Practice with trainee Registrars, trainee PAS and Medical Students. Emis and Docman clinical systems (Training will be provided to the right candidate).
Job responsibilities- Qualified Clinical Pharmacist with Independent Prescriber status
- Proven experience in primary care or general practice setting
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to confidently manage undifferentiated presentations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, organised, and able to work independently
QualificationsEssential- Qualified Clinical Independent Pharmacist with prescriber status.
