Job summary
This is a part time post working 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

Thanks to additional funding, our Crisis Home Treatment Team is expanding.

We are delighted to offer a new opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic, multidisciplinary team. This role will play a vital part in supporting individuals in crisis, helping them regain independence, and promoting recovery in the community.

The Crisis and Home treatment Team (CAHTT) is evolving. We currently provide crisis assessment and home treatment to patients experiencing acute mental health difficulties, ensuring care is delivered in the least restrictive environment. We also work closely with inpatient services to facilitate early, planned discharge.

As an Occupational Therapist within CAHTT, you will carry out assessments and deliver home treatment in a variety of settings, including patients homes in the community and treatment rooms at the Stonebow Unit.

If you're passionate about making a difference and thrive in a fast-paced, supportive environment, we'd love to hear from you.

Main duties of the job
It's a little unpredictable, as you can be called at any time to a crisis situation, we discuss referrals each morning and three times weekly we review our caseload with our consultant psychiatrist.

We complete comprehensive risk assessments for every patient, these can be completed independently although sometimes we discuss more complex patients as a Multi-disciplinary team.
