Description

Earn £13.45 per hour (£26,300 per annum) and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

Home, a place where you belong
We have a fabulous opportunity for you to join our kind and caring team. We support our customers with range of support needs which may include frailty and dementia, we help them regain or maintain their independence and ‘live well’ in their own homes. Some of our customers have more complex support needs and may require personal care, including bathing, toileting and getting dressed.

What you’ll do
  • We provide 24-hour support to our customers including moving and handling, personal care and medication support
  • Supporting individuals over the age of 55 with various care and support needs including dementia and physical health conditions
  • Working closely with the care team to follow support plans and reporting any concerns.
  • Supporting our customers with everyday daily living activities

Why join us
Join a team that cares about you as much as the customers we support. From flexible working to brilliant wellbeing support, you’re free to bring your best self to work and grow in a way that suits you. Be part of one of the UK’s Great Places to Work! We can’t offer a CoS for this role.

You have
  • A level 2 or above, or equivalent in social care or being willing to work towards this
  • If you’ve worked in a CQC care setting previously, that would be great!
  • Have a positive, caring can-do attitude, and empathy to really make a difference to our customers lives.
  • Previous experience of working with support plans, recording and using information concisely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of local community and networks would be brilliant.

Stronger together
We do our best work when we’re ourselves. That’s why inclusion, wellbeing, and our diversity networks help make Home Group a great place to work!

The practical bits
  • Full time, 37.5 hours per week
  • Rota working between 7am and 10pm including weekends and bank holidays
  • Able to use technology for creating and updating support plans.
  • You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.

What’s in it for you?
  • 34 days leave, rising to 39 (this includes bank holidays and a “me day”)
  • Health cash plan saving you (and your children) £1140+ each year covering dental, opticians, prescriptions and more
  • Instant pay access with Stream
  • 800+ discounts on shops, holidays, days out, tech and more
  • We’ll pay for your Care Certificate if you don’t already have it
