Job summaryDue to the planned retirement of a long standing salaried doctor an exciting opportunity has arisen for a GP to join our friendly and respected team at Howell Surgery. We are offering 6-7 sessions per week, with the potential for the right candidate to progress to a partnership in the future. Main duties of the jobMain Duties: As a Salaried GP, you will:
- Provide high-quality care to patients through face-to-face and telephone consultations
- Manage patient referrals, test requests, and associated administration tasks
- Deliver comprehensive primary care, ensuring the highest standard of diagnosis, treatment, and referral where necessary
- Maintain patient confidentiality and work with professionalism and compassion
- Collaborate with community-based healthcare professionals and hospitals
- Stay up-to-date with medical developments, new drugs, and treatments
- Contribute to the ongoing success and positive reputation of our practice

We are very fortunate to have below average patient contacts per day with no telephone triage, and a low home visit rate. We are members of a thriving PCN offering MDT services to the community. Located conveniently for Tunbridge Wells and Tonbridge with excellent transport links and grammar schools.

QualificationsEssential- Full GMC Registration
- Experience working in Primary Care setting with a passion for providing excellent patient care
Desirable- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a dedicated team
- A commitment to continuous professional development
- Experience with EMIS, Docman, and Doris systems
- Knowledge of local healthcare resources and services
