Main duties of the job
As a Bank Band 6 Specialist Nurse, you'll step into a rewarding role providing high-quality, trauma-informed care and support across our Community Mental Health Teams. You'll work with individuals experiencing complex mental health challenges, helping them achieve positive outcomes while contributing to the development of new ways of working.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Experience of working within an adult community Mental Health Service setting
  • Ability to hold a caseload of patients
  • Complete risk assessment and care planning documentation
  • Develop and deliver recovery focused care
  • Provide information and psycho education surrounding mental health conditions and medication.
  • Uphold legal frameworks which underpin service delivery.
  • Assess risks, the management of risks and effectiveness of interventions.
  • Monitoring and administration of medication , knowledge of medicines safety/ side effects etc
  • Working autonomously and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
