Main duties of the job
As a Band 5 Podiatrist, you will provide high-quality assessment, treatment and management of foot health conditions across a variety of settings, including:
  • Community clinics
  • Hospital sites
  • Patients' homes

No two days are the same. You'll work with a diverse patient population, helping people improve their mobility, maintain independence and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • HCPC registration
  • Degree or equivalent in Podiatric Medicine
  • Completion of post-graduate 'induction' training
  • Full UK/EU driving licence

Desirable
  • Diabetic Foot Module or willingness to successfully complete.

Experience
Essential
  • Proven record of providing high quality podiatric care for high risk patients and using biomechanical skills to provide effective chair side and prescribed orthotics

Knowledge
Essential
  • Clinical Governance and professional standards
  • Health & Safety roles and responsibilities for clinical practice
