Description

Registered Manager – Supported Living
Location: Glasgow | Full-time

The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced and values-driven Registered Manager to lead a group of established supported living services across Glasgow.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team supporting people with learning disabilities and autism , while leading and developing a dedicated team to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.

You'll oversee five established services , supporting 14 individuals and around 1,200 commissioned hours of support , with the support of three Team Leaders working alongside you to lead and develop the teams.

The services have strong foundations and were recently inspected in January 2026 with a positive outcome . This is not about starting from scratch — it's an opportunity to build on what's already working well, continue improving quality and develop a strong, positive team culture.

What you'll be doing
As Registered Manager, you'll:
  • Lead and develop teams across five supported living services, creating a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care and support for individuals with learning disabilities, autism and a range of complex support needs.
  • Support and develop your Team Leaders and wider support teams, helping them achieve their full potential.
  • Drive continuous improvement across the services and maintain high standards of quality and compliance.
  • Build strong and positive relationships with the people we support, their families, colleagues and local communities.
  • Ensure services operate effectively while providing safe, meaningful and personalised support.
  • Lead by example and create a culture where people feel supported, valued and empowered.

What you'll bring
We're looking for someone who is passionate about social care and has the leadership experience to make a real difference.

You'll ideally have:
  • Previous management experience within adult social care, ideally within supported living, learning disabilities or autism services .
  • Strong experience in operational and people management.
  • Experience leading, developing and motivating teams.
  • A good understanding of quality, compliance and regulatory requirements within social care.
  • A minimum Level 3 SVQ qualification in Health & Social Care , with Level 4 desirable or working towards it.
  • A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally between services.
  • A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred support.

Already a Registered Manager? Great. If you're an experienced Service Manager or Deputy Manager ready to take your next step, we'd also love to hear from you.

Why join Lifeways?
At Lifeways, you'll join a company where your leadership can make a genuine difference to people's lives.

You'll be supported to grow, develop and succeed, with access to:
  • Competitive salary and a bonus opportunity
  • Leadership development programmes and progression pathways
  • A supportive and inclusive workplace culture
  • Matched contribution company pension scheme
  • Wellbeing resources and mental health support
  • Reward and Recognition Schemes
  • Discounts on shopping, technology, travel and more through CHOICE Rewards
  • Access to financial wellbeing tools through Stream, including real-time pay tracking and early access to earned wages
