Job summaryTo support the Band 7 Bereavement Midwife in leading the care of women who had experienced a poor pregnancy outcome including Stillbirth, late Termination for abnormality and mid-trimester pregnancy losses.
Liaising with the Multidisciplinary Team and Joint working with the Consultant Obstetricians at allocated Clinics.
To manage and provide continuity of care and support for women and their families.
To support staff involved in the care of these women.

Main duties of the jobMonitors and ensures maintenance of standards of care
Monitors and ensure high quality of care for women and their family
Work autonomously as a clinical midwife, and as part of the wider team
Address practice deficits and provide constructive feedback to junior staff
Signpost and make appropriate referrals for specialist information / support for vulnerable families, ensuring the Trust safeguarding policy is adhered to
