Main duties of the job
The post holder will carry out all the duties reasonably expected of a Practice Nurse using the standards expected by the NMC and in line with appropriate national and/or local guidelines.

The successful candidate will join our existing clinical team of 2 GP Partners, 9 salaried GPs, 4 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 Health Care Assistants & Paramedic Practitioner.

Job responsibilities
Applicants will have experience of working in a GP practice. It is ideal that you have knowledge of COPD & Asthma management, Diabetes management, Hypertension, sexual health / contraception, cervical cytology, childhood immunisations and vaccines.

Qualifications
Essential

• BSc 1st Level Registered Nurse, DBS Check

Desirable

• Diploma in CVD, Diploma in Diabetes, Diploma in Asthma, Diploma in COPD, Approved Smear Taker, Evidence of continuing professional Development, Evidence of immunisation training
