Job summary
We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Band 6 Children's Community Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Children's Occupational Therapy team across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.

In this role, you will work with children and young people aged 0-19 years with a range of physical disabilities, neurodevelopmental conditions, and motor coordination difficulties, supporting them to maximise independence and participation in daily life at home, school, and within their communities.

You will manage a complex caseload, delivering specialist, evidence-based assessments and interventions across a variety of settings including clinics, homes, nurseries, and schools. You will play a key role in supporting children with more complex needs, using advanced clinical reasoning to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment programmes.

You will contribute to the development of universal and targeted support for schools, while also providing clinical supervision, training, and support to junior staff and students.

You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary and multi-agency environment, contributing specialist advice to processes such as Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and wider service development initiatives.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference to children and families, while developing your leadership skills within a supportive and forward-thinking service.
