This is a permanent, full-time role of 37.5 hours per week, and the successful candidate will work at Band 7, earning between £49,397 and £56,515 per annum, plus Outer London HCAS.

Job descriptionThe RoleAs a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a vital role in assessing and supporting children and young people with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Working as part of a regional team, you will contribute specialist input to local services across the Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering boroughs (one post per borough). Your expertise will help empower families and enhance the lives of the children and young people we serve. Post holder duties include:
- Conduct assessments for autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions, ensuring timely and accurate diagnoses.
- Deliver high-quality psychological and therapeutic interventions tailored to the needs of children, young people, and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external partners to develop and implement effective care pathways and interventions.
Essential Skills and Qualifications- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of assessing autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions.
- Proficiency in core psychological and therapeutic skills, with a focus on evidence-based practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engage effectively with families and external stakeholders.
