Job summaryWe are looking for a Senior Psychologist/CBT Therapist for Here for Staff - the staff support service. The postholder will work within the specialist staff psychological support service supporting staff who have experienced psychological difficulties as a result of patient safety incidents. The postholder will provide support through evidence based interventions, consultation and training and preventative mental health initiatives. The postholder will be mainly working with staff in the ARD directorate, and will be predominantly based on site at Goodmayes Hospital. The postholder will work with the rest of the Here for Staff team to help promote a compassionate and inclusive culture of staff wellbeing.

Starting with NELFTNELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers, and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Goodmayes Hospital.

High Cost Area Supplement - Outer LondonThis post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum payment of £4,870 and a maximum payment of £6,1371 - per annum, pro rata for part time)

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist or full BABCP accreditation as a CBT therapist
Desirable- Doctoral level training in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or other psychological profession accredited by the HCPC/BABCP
- Additional specialist training in advanced therapy skills, such as CBT, EMDR, Mindfulness
ExperienceEssential- At least two years post-qualification experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of service users within the NHS
- At least two years post-qualification experience of delivering psychological interventions to a wide variety of client groups, ages, contexts, and presenting problems
- Experience of teaching, training, and / or supervision
Desirable- Experience of delivering group/psychoeducation work
- Experience of developing and carrying out research projects, audit and service evaluation
- Experience of working with staff and teams to support their well-being, stress management and resilience
