Pay Rates: £15.93 per hour
Shift Patterns: 30 hours p/w between Monday-Friday 8:30-17:00

Main duties of the jobAssist in the provision of high-quality primary clinical dental care for child and adult patients with special needs who fulfil the criteria for referral and treatment within the service and who cannot be accommodated by a General Dental Practitioner.
Expected to work with all patients who receive care in the service and to perform all duties expected of dental nurses within the clinical governance agenda.
Provide comprehensive support to clinicians, throughout a wide range of different types of clinical treatments.
Set up and prepare the dental surgery or theatre for use at the beginning of the session and ensure that it is left as defined by the control of infection guidelines at the end of the day.
Assist with dental radiography under the supervision of an operator, process dental x-rays following the Quality Assurance Policy.

Experience- At least 1 years experience working within the NHS, general practice or private clinics.
Desirable- Other experiences relevant to CDS such as working with the elderly, children and patients with special needs.
Qualifications- Registration with the General Dental Council.
- National Certificate for Dental Nurses or NVQ Level 3 in Oral Healthcare.
