Main duties of the job

• Provide high-quality fundamental care to patients under the guidance of a Registered Practitioner.
• Act in the patient's best interests at all times.
• Protect and maintain patient privacy and dignity.
• Provide individualized care, respecting personal beliefs and preferences.
• Timely alert the Registered Practitioner to any changes or concerns regarding patient welfare.

Job responsibilities

• Significantly contribute to the operation of outpatient clinics.
• Actively prepare simple procedure trolleys.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement strategies supporting the hospital's business plans.
• Communicate appropriately with healthcare professionals, patients, and carers as needed.
• Chaperone patients.

Experience
Essential

• Previous Hospital , primary care or care home experience

Qualifications
Essential

• Literacy & Numeracy Standard
• Educated to GCSE level standard including Maths and English
• NVQ Level 2&3 in care or customer service

• Able to liaise with patients, carers, visitors and trust staff at all levels
