The post holder will participate in the daily management of the department when required, ensuring smooth and efficient running alongside the Deputy Clinical Leader, to support the Clinical Leader. The post holder will be expected to work within a busy Haematology unit consisting of 8 chairs, treatment room and an area for assessment for treating complex chemotherapy regimes and haematological conditions. The post holder will also be supporting a busy haematology outpatient area with several busy clinics running daily.
Once training has been undertaken you will be responsible for the safe administration of 2 chemotherapy and other Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapies (SACT) and participate in the triaging of patients who develop complications associated with their haematological treatment, ensuring prompt assessment and management of symptoms
