Exciting Opportunity for Experienced Midwives! Join Our Infant Feeding Team
We are thrilled to invite passionate and experienced midwives to join our dedicated Infant Feeding team, working across Maternity and Neonatal Services at Royal Oldham Hospital. This role offers you the chance to make a real difference in maternal and neonatal care.

As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional support to women and their babies. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team (MDT), all united by a commitment to enhance the wellbeing of those who choose our maternity services.

We are seeking highly motivated midwives who are enthusiastic about improving maternity care. Your strong collaboration skills and passion for excellence will directly contribute to our goal of providing top-notch care to families in our community.

Main duties of the job
We're seeking a dedicated professional to support our team in the ongoing implementation, improvement, and monitoring of our Infant Feeding service within Maternity Services. Your role will be pivotal in facilitating positive change and ensuring compliance with national and local standards.

Qualifications
Essential
  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration
  • Evidence of CPD
  • Practice Assessor
  • Degree / Diploma in Midwifery

Knowledge and skills
Essential
  • Completed Band 5 preceptorship
  • IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Awareness of Baby Friendly Initiative
  • Team working skills
  • Understanding of clinical governance

Desirable
  • Experience of Audit
  • Tongue Tie Practitioner

Skills & Abilities
Essential
  • Ability to travel to different geographical locations across the Trust footprint in line with service needs

Desirable
  • Full UK driving license with willingness to use own car for work purposes
