Main duties of the jobAs a valued member of our specialist multidisciplinary inpatient team, you will provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for older adults experiencing complex mental health conditions. You will assess functional ability, manage risk, support recovery-focused goals, and work closely with families and community services to maximise independence and ensure safe and timely discharge from hospital.
You will have opportunities to influence and shape service delivery through quality improvement and service development initiatives, helping to enhance patient experience and clinical effectiveness.
As a senior member of the team, you will provide supervision, support and mentorship to junior colleagues, students and support staff, and will deputise for the Team Lead when required.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist who is passionate about older people's mental health and is looking to further develop their clinical, leadership and service improvement skills within a supportive and progressive team.

Person SpecificationExperienceEssential- Post graduate experience working in Older People's Mental Health
- Post graduate training relevant to the specialist field of older peoples mental health

QualificationsEssential- Degree in O.T.
