Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen on E16 for 3 x Band 5 Staff Nurses to cover maternity - 9 months.

E16 is a 28 bedded acute Vascular ward caring for patients with a range of complex needs, offering an invaluable learning opportunity to acquire a range of transferable skills to include the care of complex wounds, patients with renal problems and the management of Diabetes.

You will work closely with the whole multi-disciplinary team, to include our Vascular Surgeons, Nurse Practitioners, Ward team, discharge co-ordinator, Allied Health professionals and Community colleagues. We foster a team approach on E16, working together to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

With our Clinical Educator we are a team that is committed to your development in a supportive and nurturing environment. We offer a robust induction and preceptorship programme to include one to one teaching, peer support and weekly 'drop in' sessions.

Main duties of the job
The post holder is required to be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

The successful candidate will support ensuring excellent standards of patient care are delivered and maintained in Vascular Surgery.

We require an enthusiastic and conscientious team player with excellent communication skills who is well motivated and reliable. Previous experience/current experience within Vascular Surgery is desirable but not essential.
