To participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols.
Producing high quality images to assist in diagnosis and treatment, while demonstrating high standards of care.

About the RoleThe post-holder will undertake all clinical work in the Imaging Department. They will be able to demonstrate specialised knowledge and expertise and support the Imaging Lead.
- To deliver a high-quality diagnostic imaging service.
- To participate in the vetting and prioritising of all Imaging examinations according to departmental guidelines and in the optimisation and development of protocols.

The successful candidate will be expected to work on a shift basis, working 37.5 hours per week over a 7 day rota during the hospital operating hours. The rota is not fixed, is subject to change in order to meet operational needs and will be required to work weekends and bank holidays in accordance with the rota.
About YouThe ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:- Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registered
- Excellent understanding of the role of a Radiographer and Imaging services.

Person SpecificationEducation/QualificationsEssential- Diploma of College of Radiographers/BSc Radiography or equivalent
- HCPC registered
ExperienceEssential- Minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
- Evidence of continuing professional development
Desirable- Private healthcare experience
- Teaching experience
- Awareness of quality and clinical audit and statistical analysis.
Knowledge/SkillsEssential- Excellent understanding of the role of a Radiographer and Imaging services.
- Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Sound leadership and influencing skills.
