Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a MATERNITY COVER full time band 6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse to join the Gynaecology Ward.We are looking for a person who is passionate about Women's Health, dynamic and innovative. You need to be enthusiastic and professional with a good work ethic. You should also be committed to delivering high standards of patient care, organised and have good time management skills.

Main duties of the job
Any potential applicants would need to be an experienced band 5 nurse with minimum 2 years experience.You need to be passionate about demonstrating quality patient care, and have a clear vision of leading a team with minimal supervision.

Duties will include:
  • Staff management responsibilities: recruitment, induction, training, absence management and performance management
  • Monitoring nursing standards, ensuring compliance with the NMC Code
