Description

Description
At Pharmacierge, we are redefining the private pharmacy experience in the UK. Based on Wimpole Street, in the heart of the London Harley Street Medical Area, we work closely with leading private clinicians to deliver a seamless, safe, and highly personalised medication service.

Our approach is rooted in clinical excellence, compassion, and innovation. We combine cutting-edge technology with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure that every patient and prescriber receives the same level of care that we would want for our own families.

As a member of our pharmacy team, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and patient care, helping us deliver an exceptional experience at every stage of the journey.

As a Pharmacy Technician at Pharmacierge, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our pharmacy. Our ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented professional who is dedicated to providing the highest standards of patient care and safety.

We are also actively seeking Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technicians (ACTs) to join our dynamic team.

Please Note: Applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK as visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Work Arrangements
We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time in-person roles. Please note that remote work is not available at this time.
  • Full-time roles involve working 40 hours per week, including participation in a rotational weekend schedule.
  • Part-time roles require a minimum commitment of 25 hours per week. Specific working patterns can be discussed during the application process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispense medications accurately against prescriptions, following pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and UK pharmacy regulations.
  • Provide support and guidance to patients and prescribers, responding to clinical and non-clinical queries within your scope of practice.
  • Apply the skills and knowledge gained through your NVQ3 Pharmacy Technician training to actively support the wider Pharmacierge team. This includes contributing to the training and development of dispensary and support staff, while helping to uphold the high standards of care and service that Pharmacierge is known for.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with stock control, including ordering, replenishment, and expiry checks.
  • Support safety and quality assurance initiatives, including identifying and reporting any discrepancies or concerns related to medication safety.

Requirements
To be considered for the Pharmacy Technician role at Pharmacierge, you MUST have the following qualifications and experience:
  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Qualification (or equivalent as recognised by the General Pharmaceutical Council)
  • Be a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Candidates who have completed their training and are awaiting GPhC registration will also be considered
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Possess outstanding communication skills and a patient-centric approach to service delivery

Benefits
At Pharmacierge, we’re committed to supporting our team with a comprehensive and rewarding benefits package that reflects the value of their contributions:
  • Competitive Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
  • Private Medical Insurance: Available after a minimum term
  • 28 Days Annual Leave (including Bank Holidays), increasing with tenure (conditions apply)
  • Company-Wide Bonus Scheme: Eligible after a minimum term
  • Government-Approved Share Option Scheme: Available after a minimum term
  • Employee Discounts Platform: Access to a wide range of retail and lifestyle savings
  • GPhC Registration Fee Reimbursement Scheme
  • Pharmacy Social Events: Regular team-building and social activities
  • Access to training and CPD Opportunities: Ongoing professional development and training support

Recruitment Process
At Pharmacierge, we use a multi-stage recruitment process for the NVQ3/ACT role to ensure the best possible fit for both you and our team.
  • Stage 1 – Application Review: We’ll review your application (usually within 1-2 working days) to ensure it meets the essential criteria for the role.
  • Stage 2 – Telephone Interview: If shortlisted, you’ll be invited to self-schedule a short telephone interview with our Recruitment Coordinator or a senior staff member.
  • Stage 3 – Video Interview: Successful applicants will then have a remote interview via Microsoft Teams with a senior member of the Pharmacy Team.
  • Stage 4 – On-site Visit: If progressing, you'll be invited to visit our pharmacy for a tour, meet the team, and get a feel for the working environment. You’ll also spend time in the areas relevant to the role to see what a typical day might look like.
  • Stage 5 – Final Review: A member of our Senior Leadership Team will review your application and interview feedback. If all criteria are met, we’ll be in touch with a job offer.

Why this approach?
We’ve found that transparency and time spent on both sides leads to better long-term satisfaction and retention. Our goal is for you to fully understand the role, and for us to understand you, not just on paper, but as a potential colleague.

Candidates who have not heard from us within one week of Stage 1 (application review) or Stage 2 (telephone interview) should assume, unless advised otherwise, that their application has not been successful

We are an equal opportunities employer.
