Shifts: Bank positions, operational hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 6:30pm
Main duties of the jobPrimary Care: Onsite in our GP practicesUndertake comprehensive health assessments for adults and paediatric patients, applying advanced clinical judgement and holistic care planning.
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate treatment and interventions for undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions.
Perform clinical examinations and interpret findings from both physiological and psychological perspectives.
Manage a clinical caseload with a high degree of autonomy, making safe and timely decisions within agreed governance frameworks.
Contribute to a culture of patient safety, quality improvement and effective multidisciplinary working.
Maintain professional competence and development in line with regulatory requirements, contributing positively as a senior clinician within the practice team.
The Primary Care role is designed for ACPs who feel they are confident working autonomously in a GP practice setting. The post holder will have access to GP clinical supervision and clear escalation pathways, with support focused on safe decision-making, governance and clinical case discussion. Job responsibilitiesAre you an Advanced Clinical Practitioner? Primary Care 24 (PC24) are seeking highly skilled and motivated ACPs to join our multidisciplinary primary care bank team. You will work within GP practices across Merseyside, delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and contributing to improved health outcomes for the local population. You will practice with autonomy, using advanced clinical skills to assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients both face-to-face and via telephone consultations. This role offers variety, professional challenge and the opportunity to work within a pragmatic and forward-thinking primary care environment.

What do I needEssential- Current professional registration with the Nursing and midwifery Council (NMC) or Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) with no conditions or restrictions.
- Experience working in a GP practice setting (2+ years preferred).
- Advanced clinical assessment, examination and decision-making skills.
- Non-Medical Prescriber (V300) qualification.
- Level 7 Clinical Examination and Diagnostics qualification.
- Ability to practise autonomously and manage complex clinical presentations.
Desirable- MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards completion).
- Evidence of leadership, service improvement or teaching contributions.
