DescriptionEden House is looking to recruit a Bank Addictions Therapist to join the team. This is a Bank role.
Eden House, part of Priory, is an affordable, 18-bed residential service in Mill Hill, North London. It is home to Flourish – our pioneering therapy-led addiction programme – offering bespoke treatment for a wide range of addictions in a calm, homely environment. Set within a supportive community, Eden House provides a safe haven away from the stresses of daily life, forming part of our wider network of residential addiction treatment homes across the UK.
You will be part of a compassionate team who are committed to our patients wellbeing. We take a personalised approach, using proven therapies to help people move forward with confidence and build a healthier, more fulfilling future. You will play a key part in their recovery, assisting qualified staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans, undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed or delegated to facilitate wellbeing, dignity and treatment of patients.
Key Responsibilities- Delivered one-to-one and group therapy sessions for individuals experiencing substance misuse and behavioural addictions, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Completed comprehensive assessments, developed personalised treatment plans, and reviewed client progress throughout their recovery journey.
- Worked collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective care and contribute to discharge and relapse prevention planning.
- Maintained accurate, confidential clinical records and documentation in line with organisational policies and professional standards.
- Provided therapeutic support on a flexible bank basis, adapting to the needs of the service while promoting recovery, resilience, and positive client outcomes.

Requirements- Experienced in delivering therapeutic interventions within addiction, mental health, or related healthcare settings, with a strong understanding of substance misuse and recovery models.
- Skilled in building therapeutic relationships, completing clinical assessments, maintaining accurate records, and working effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and risk assessment skills, with a compassionate, person-centred approach and the ability to work independently in a flexible bank role.
