Description

Partner with Priory

Thinking about moving into private practice but not sure where to start? Or already working independently and looking for the security of regular referrals? Partnering with Priory allows you to build your practice with confidence — without the stress of going it alone.

Priory Wellbeing Centre Canterbury is seeking an ADOS Lead Assessor to join our team. This is a self-employed, sessional role offering flexibility around the centre’s needs and your availability.

You will undertake face-to-face and occasional remote work if required. You will also complete relevant ADOS reports and join the MDT to collaborate on and finalise ASC assessments for both CAMHs and Adults.

At Priory, you’ll be part of a compassionate, multidisciplinary team committed to delivering personalised, evidence-based care that helps people move forward with confidence and build healthier, more fulfilling lives.

You will play a key role in patients’ recovery, contributing to assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic delivery, while working within strong clinical governance frameworks.

What we offer:
  • Steady patient flow – referrals provided, so you can focus on therapy rather than marketing
  • Credibility & trust – work under the nationally recognised Priory brand
  • Clinical and admin support – access to clinical space, billing, and administrative support
  • Flexibility – choose the days and hours that suit you
  • Team connection – the independence of self-employment without professional isolation

Essential Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) assessments for the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASC) in both children and adults.
  • Valid certification in the administration and interpretation of ADOS assessments.
  • Proven experience using ADOS within a clinical diagnostic setting.
  • Professional background in psychology, psychiatry, or a related mental health discipline.
  • Experience working with telehealth platforms and virtual assessment tools, with the ability to work effectively in remote environments.
