Located near Hassocks in West Sussex, Priory Hospital Burgess Hill provides specialist inpatient mental healthcare for adult men. The hospital offers acute mental health services and a psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), delivering assessment and treatment for people with complex mental health needs.

In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

• Support qualified Psychologists with psychological assessments, formulations and interventions.
• Assist with the delivery of individual and group therapeutic sessions under appropriate supervision.
• Contribute to person-centred care planning, clinical reviews and monitoring of service users’ progress.
• Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team to support positive outcomes for service users.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to outcome measures, audits, research and service development.
• Develop your clinical knowledge and skills through regular supervision, training and reflective practice.

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to build positive relationships with service users and colleagues, and a good understanding of psychological principles and evidence-based practice. You will be organised, able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, maintain accurate and confidential records, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop your clinical skills through supervision and training.
