Occupational Therapist
Priory Hospital East Midlands are recruiting an Occupational Therapist on our Acute and PICU ward.

Salary: £24,999 - £30,432 Depending on Experience
Hours: Part Time – 30 Hours

Priory Hospital East Midlands has an opportunity for a HCPC registered Occupational Therapist to join our team. Priory Hospital East Midlands, located between Nottingham and Mansfield, is a specialist acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU) service for adult females. It is accessible by public transport, with a local train station nearby and a bus stop just outside the hospital providing links to Annesley, Hucknall and Kirkby-in-Ashfield.

You will join the team on the Acute and PICU ward. In this role, you will play a key part in patient recovery, supporting the assessment and delivery of tailored treatment plans while ensuring dignity, respect, and high standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Manages and co-ordinates the implementation of individual treatment plans for occupational therapy services ensuring treatments, activities and interventions are delivered through effective application and communication.
• Receives and responds promptly to referrals undertaking patient assessments to identify and prioritise patient needs before planning and delivering the appropriate and relevant interventions either on an individual or group basis.
• Maintains accurate and timely records detailing each patient’s rehabilitation / progress.
• Ensures the effective and efficient management of more junior staff.

Requirements
Candidates must be HCPC registered and hold a Diploma in Occupational Therapy or holds a BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy together with full BAOT membership. The role holder will require at least 3 years’ experience including at least 1 years experience of working within the specialised area i.e. addictions, neuro-rehab or eating disorders.
