Salary is £44,375 - £50,329 per annum dependant on experience
Full Time - 37.5 Hours

Priory Hospital Newbury has an opportunity for a Ward Manager in Mental Health Nursing to join our team.  Priory Hospital Newbury, Berkshire is a level 2 rehabilitation service supporting adult males with mental health needs, working towards community reintegration. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes nearby including services to Reading and Basingstoke, and nearby train stations providing links into London.

You will provide clinical leadership and oversee the day-to-day running of our Acute Ward. You will lead and support the nursing team, ensure high standards of patient care, manage staffing and compliance, and promote a positive, safe, and compassionate environment for patients and colleagues alike. Essential for the role

• An experienced Mental Health Nurse with at least two years leadership experience.
• Experience supervising nursing or care staff. 
• Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD). 
• Trained Assessor/Supervisor (or willingness to achieve). 
• Computer literate. 
• Willingness to undertake further clinical, leadership and management training. 
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a clinical environment.

The following experience would be beneficial

• Experience within an Acute Ward setting.
