Job summary
This role is open to all applicants. However, in line with Cornwall First recruitment principles, initial shortlisting will prioritise applicants from Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, and the Integrated Care Board for Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Practice Educator, to work in the learning and development department at RCHT.

This vacancy will require a Face to Face Interview.

Main duties of the job
The post focuses on:
  • Co-ordination and support of all non medical under graduate learners on placement within the Trust.
  • Support and development of Supervisors, Assessors and Preceptors in practice.
  • Provision of clinically based education within specific acute ward areassupporting both pre-registration students and preceptees.

Essential
  • >2 years experience working in an acute clinical area.
  • NMC/HCPC Pin Number
  • Teaching and/or mentoring/Assessor qualification
  • Evidence of teaching in a classroom and/or clinical area

Desirable
  • Experience in an academic setting
  • Experience in a clinical teaching role
