**VISA SPONSORSHIP DOES NOT APPLY TO THIS ROLE**Main duties of the jobWorking shifts as a bank registered nurse across wards and departments as part of the multidisciplinary team, in a variety of clinical settings to deliver the highest quality care to our patients, in line with our trust values
As an accountable registered nurse you will be responsible for delivering excellent care to an allocated group of patients providing total patient care, for each clinical area you work on.
Clinical duties, across a range of clinical settings, include acute medical care, managing deteriorating patients, wound management, pain management, diabetes management, health promotion, patient education, complex discharge planning, sepsis treatment, end of life care, dementia and delirium care.

Job descriptionJob responsibilitiesThe post holder is responsible for the assessment of care needs and the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care.
He/she is expected to teach unqualified staff.
The post holder will be expected to liaise appropriately with all key members of the multi-disciplinary team and service users related patients

Education & QualificationsEssential- First Level Registration (adult)
ExperienceEssential- 18 months experience as staff Nurse
- Recent clinical experience in General Medical/Surgical and Elderly care setting
- Experience of working within a team
Skills & AptitudesEssential- Knowledge of acutely unwell adult patients
- Interest in learning and developing advancing practical and clinical skills relevant to the specialty
- Good communication skills
- Can demonstrate a good understanding of good customer care
- Knowledge/understanding of basic organisational skills
