The Breast team at The Royal United Hospitals Bath have a reputation for high quality patient care, education and research. This post has recently become available and represents an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and well-regarded team.
Knowledge and previous experience within breast surgery or cancer care is advantageous to apply for this post.
Main duties of the jobYou will be a skilled,expert breast care nurse, and a core member of the Breast unit multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality care to patients with breast surgical or oncological issues. You will possess or develop the skills, competence, expertise and clinical decision-making abilities required to co-ordinate treatment for breast patients.
You will provide clinical leadership for the development of integrated patient pathways in the team, which are in line with recognised best practice and evidence base, working closely with stakeholders and care providers.
