Job summaryJoin our dedicated maternity team and help make a difference at every stage of the maternity journey.
As a Midwife at Sherwood Forest Hospitals, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to women, birthing people, babies and their families by delivering high-quality, evidence-based and compassionate midwifery care throughout their maternity journey.
This exciting and rewarding role offers a varied clinical experience across our Sherwood Birthing Unit, Maternity Ward and Maternity Triage, enabling you to broaden your knowledge, enhance your clinical skills and continue to develop professionally. The rotational nature of the post provides valuable opportunities to gain experience across different maternity settings, with the option to become a core member of an individual team should this better suit your interests and career aspirations.
You will take an active role in assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating personalised care, supporting families through every stage of the maternity pathway. Working both autonomously and collaboratively as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will champion safe, respectful and individualised care, helping to create positive experiences and achieve the best possible outcomes for women, birthing people and their babies.
If you are a passionate and dedicated midwife who wants to develop your skills, contribute to a supportive team and make a lasting difference to families, we would love to hear from you.
