Main duties of the job- Diverse Consultation Formats: Face-to-face surgeries, e-consultations, triage, telephone consultations, and home visits.
- Autonomous Decision-Making: Lead clinical assessments for undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions.
- Preventive Care Leadership: Conduct disease risk screening and early intervention.
- Care Coordination: Develop personalised treatment plans and manage referrals.
- Patient Education: Provide counselling and health education that empowers patients.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain meticulous clinical records and participate in audit processes.
- Digital Integration: Utilise Systm1 for enhanced patient care and data management.
- Prescribing Excellence: Follow evidence-based formularies while ensuring patient safety.
- QoF & LCS Compliance: Contribute to Quality and Outcomes Framework and Locally Commissioned Services achievements.
- Multidisciplinary Teamwork: Collaborate with PCN, system colleagues and healthcare professionals.
- Clinical Supervision: Mentor junior doctors, F1/F2/ST trainees, and student placements.
- Practice Development: Contribute to policy development and clinical standard setting.
- Knowledge Sharing: Participate in practice meetings and educational initiatives.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Fully qualified and registered General Practitioner.
- Proven experience in general practice settings.

- BANES area familiarity.
