6 month fixed term contract/secondment/rotation
We are looking for dynamic and inspiring Occupational Therapist to join the inpatient rehabilitation service part of the wider Intermediate Care service pathway beds.
You will gain an in depth understanding of community working and supporting people to achieve their desired outcomes to be able to be discharged to the community.
The successful candidate will be directly supported by a Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist within the team for both managerial and clinical supervision.

Main duties of the job- You will be expected to carry out specific therapy assessments which will include goal setting and treatment planning, assessing risk, promoting and enabling occupational performance using the occupational therapy process.
- You will be committed to personalised care in your work, have an ability to prioritise and work flexibly alongside physiotherapists and rehabilitation assistants and the wider MDT.
- You will work closely with partner agencies such as PCNs, complex care, social care and the third party sector.
