We are seeking a Neonatal nurse to take on the role of Band 7 Neonatal Co-ordinator.
Are you someone with extensive neonatal experience, with proven leadership skills and the vision and passion to help develop the Neonatal Unit? You will need to be pro-active in decision making, with a forward-focused approach and good collaborative skills to deliver high-quality care to our Neonatal patients and their families. We are seeking Applications from nurses who are innovative.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the safe and effective co-ordination of the Neonatal Unit on a shift-by-shift basis, ensuring optimal patient flow, staffing oversight, and delivery of high-quality care in-line with national standards and local frameworks.

Family Integrated Care (FiCare) is at the heart of everything we do, working in partnership with families to ensure they are fully involved at every stage of their babys journey.

QualificationsEssential- First level NMC Registered Nurse (Adult or Child).

- Post-Qualifying Specialist Neonatal Course (QIS).
- Recognised Neonatal Resuscitation and / or stabilization Course / Neonatal Life Support (NLS).
- Mentorship Certificate / Practice Assessor training.
- Management and leadership training / ILM qualification (or equivalent) or evidence of currently working towards this.
DesirablePhysical SkillsEssential- Ability to walk / stand for long periods.
- Ability to sit at workstation as necessary, with substantial use of VDU. Requirement for keyboard skills.
- Highly-developed physical skills and dexterity.
- Ability to move patients and equipment as per Trust Moving and Handling Policy.
