The post is an opportunity to work at CT3 level with the support and of our consultants and current middle grades to gain registrar level experience.
Main duties of the jobThe Emergency Department attends to over 100000 patients annually and is nationally competitive in key performance indicators and remains nationally recognised for high patient satisfaction ratings. As a CT3 in Emergency Medicine you will play a pivotal role in providing and driving high-quality care whilst also supporting junior colleagues to achieve this for all patients.

Post holders will also benefit from allocated time for non-clinical CPD and opportunities to lead ED service improvements. The department encourages career progression and offers the opportunity for promotion to an independent Doctor (equivalent to Middle Grade) position subject to meeting the requirements of this post, we actively support applicants wishing to undertake the FRCEM and CESR.
