SOUTHEND-ON-SEA, ESSEX, United Kingdom

Perioperative Practitioner-Anaesthetics | Southend | Full-time, 37.5 hours per week | Permanent
Spire Wellesley Hospital have an exciting opportunity for Perioperative Practitioner Anaesthetics to join the team on a full-time basis. Spire Wellesley Hospital takes pride in providing a high standard of care and some of the latest medical technology. With a full multidisciplinary medical team, you can get fast access to consultations with specialists. We offer a wide range of treatments that are personalised to you and as much aftercare as you clinically need.

Are you a skilled Anaesthetic Practitioner looking for a fresh challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking environment? Join Spire Wellesley Hospital, where your expertise will directly contribute to outstanding patient outcomes and where your development is genuinely valued.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Delivering high-quality anaesthetic care across a varied and complex caseload
  • Supporting patients throughout their perioperative journey
  • Working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care
  • Promoting best practice in safety, infection control, and clinical excellence
  • Contributing to service development and quality improvement initiatives

What We’re Looking For:
  • HCPC or NMC registration (ODP or RN)
  • Experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery (preferred)
  • Strong clinical reasoning and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
  • IELTS 7.0 English language level (if applicable)

Shift Pattern:
  • Monday to Saturday
  • Theatre hours: 07:30 to 20:30 with on-call duties
