Senior Sister/Charge Nurse Band 7 - 37.5 hours per week

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Sister/Charge Nurse position in our Emergency Department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual that thrives in a fast paced environment who aspires to deliver high quality care within a team of innovative professionals where every individual's contribution is valued.

This role comes at an exciting time, as we have transitioned into a new- state-of-art Emergency Department which is part of a large Emergency Village.

Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the ED ensuring safe and efficient patient care and patient flow

Staff management

• supervise, mentor and support nursing staff, fostering professional development

Patient Care

• Ensure high standards of care, focusing on patient safety, dignity and experience

Service Development

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of emergency care services, adapting to evolving clinical needs

Collaboration

• work closely with Doctors, allied health professionals and operations teams

Resource management

• ensure appropriate use of staffing, equipment and facilities
