Job summaryWe have exciting opportunities immediately available for two full time Band 4 Assistant Psychologists who are looking to develop their clinical skills in the community. The service currently operates flexibly between Monday - Friday (8am-6pm). You will be joining a busy, happy, high performing and well-regarded community based Surrey-wide child and adolescent eating disorders service based in Epsom, comprising of an experienced and clinically diverse MDT. You will be working alongside other Assistant Psychologists, Band 7 CBT therapists, band 7 and 8a Clinical Psychologist and the MDT to help deliver the core purpose of the service in line with the NHSE Access and Waiting Times NHS England Guidelines. You will need to be very organised overseeing the collation and presentation of data, supporting the production of regular service reports, and initial assessment and other clinical reports. Access to the use of a car would be helpful but not essential.
Main duties of the jobTo assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, produce reports for CCG and NHSE on the Access and Waiting Times data, collection of statistics and development of audit and/or research projects, teaching and project work. You will support the existing system for collecting and analyzing outcome data in addition to developing a database to measure the outcomes of a new arm of our treatment pathway. You will be supporting assessments, groups and providing meal supports; and you may deliver Family Based Treatment or CBT interventions (training will be provided to the right candidate. Access to the use of a car would be helpful but not essential). You will be required to carry out direct clinical work with young people with eating disorders. Further opportunities to support and enhance the professional psychological care of clients within the service, across all sectors of care; providing assistance for group work, psychological assessment and psychological interventions under the supervision of a qualified professional psychologist, working independently according to a plan agreed with a qualified psychologist and within the overall framework of the team's policies and procedures.

Person SpecificationQualifications- Essential: An upper second class honours degree or higher in psychology and entitlement to graduate membership of the British Psychological Society
Experience- Essential: Demonstrable direct clinical experience working in the field of mental health with children and families e.g. working with YP with anxiety, depression, or other mental illness to deliver low intensity individual, family, or group interventions under supervision.
