We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our leadership team as a Practice Development Occupational Therapist. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of Occupational Therapy practice across Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust by leading education, workforce development and professional standards.

Working closely with the Head of Therapies, Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead, Team Leads and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will play a pivotal role in supporting staff to deliver safe, effective and evidence-based care. You will lead the development of competency frameworks, education programmes and learning opportunities for Occupational Therapists, support workers, apprentices and students across the Trust

This is a unique opportunity to influence Occupational Therapy practice at both an operational and strategic level. You will work alongside senior therapy leaders to shape the future workforce, drive delivery of the Therapy Strategy and contribute to Trust-wide priorities, ensuring our services continue to provide safe, effective and compassionate care.

Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is one of the region's busiest providers of healthcare. It was formed on 1 April 1998 following a merger between East Surrey Healthcare NHS and Crawley Horsham NHS Trusts. We are often referred to as 'SASH'.
