Job summaryWe are now looking for an ambitious, highly motivated, dedicated & experienced Sonographer to take on the role of practice educator to help support trainee Sonographers, junior doctors and midwives working within Radiology. You must have outstanding communication skills and a passion for education. The remit of this role will include:
- Developing, implementing and delivering training lists for trainee sonographers and radiology trainees.
- Supporting the delivery of practical and theoretical ultrasound training
- Undertaking Audit across the Non Obstetric scan department.
You will be given a key role in the development of our existing and future workforce, opening up opportunities to all those who contribute to these services.
The Sonography team at Surrey and Sussex NHS Trust provides an essential service for the maternity community. We work closely with midwives, obstetric consultants and junior doctors within the maternity team to deliver the safest care possible for our pregnant women. We work across the hospital MDT with various teams to ensure we provide the highest possible training standards to deliver the safest service.
