The team work generically, providing high quality care through effective team work in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate should be suitably qualified and be able to demonstrate their experience relevant to the role. The role involves working independently as well as part of the MDT offering evidence based/current best practice over 7 days to support with therapeutic assessment, intervention and timely discharge planning of adult patients across the inpatient therapy wards within Rotherham Hospital. Part of the role also includes appropriate identification of onward therapy needs and timely referrals to community services.

The patient caseload will present with a wide variety of conditions which may include cardiology, respiratory, general surgery, general medicine, frailty/care of the elderly, endocrinology/haematology and so on. We do not cover the specialities of stroke and orthopaedics.

If you possess the above skills and experiences, enjoy working in a fast paced therapeutic environment and can offer flexibility and a passion for patient-centred care, then this role is for you!
