Job summaryAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Radiographer to join our team as a
Band 7 Radiology Clinical Lead.
This is a key leadership role within the department, offering the opportunity to support and shape the delivery of high-quality, safe and effective imaging services. You will provide
visible clinical leadership, supporting operational delivery while maintaining a strong focus on patient experience, quality improvement and staff wellbeing.
In addition to day shifts this role will also require on-call cover for evenings and weekends.

Main duties of the job- Provide clinical and operational leadership within your designated imaging area
- Support the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care in line with Trust values
- Lead, support and develop a skilled multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to service delivery, performance management and patient flow
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and transformation within Radiology
- Ensure compliance with IR(ME)R, health and safety standards and governance requirements
- Support staff through supervision, appraisal, and professional development
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Trust to improve patient pathways
You will be an approachable and visible leader, promoting a culture where staff feel supported, valued and empowered.

Person SpecificationQualificationsEssential- Registered nurse, educated to diploma or degree level
- Teaching and assessing course/ mentorship in practice course or NMC supervising learners in practice approved.
- Evidence of a post registration qualification or approved training course in leadership and management
ExperienceEssential- Experience in interventional radiology or a similar interventional speciality
- Management experience.
