This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, enthusiastic, positive nurse who takes pride in their work to create a vision and collaboratively work with the multi-disciplinary team to promote and build and maintain independence for our patients. Lulworth ward is a complex care medical ward managed by advanced nurse practitioners and has a secondment opportunity for 9 months to cover maternity leave.

This role requires an active UK NMC Registration

Main duties of the job

About us

Qualifications

• NMC Registered Nurse

Technical Skills

• Demonstrable ability with vital signs monitoring equipment and ability to recognise the deteriorating patient
• Competent in non-IV and IV medication administration.

Personal Attributes

• Able to work unsupervised and on own initiative
• Able to integrate and work within the MDT

Experience

• Experience of caring for patients
• Experience of working in the NHS hospital setting

Knowledge

• Ability to demonstrate fundamental nursing knowledge and practice skills
