Job summary
Candidates are invited to apply for the Trust StR Lower position in ENT. This is a non-training post, although there will be plenty of opportunity to attend theatre and outpatients with senior colleagues. The post holder will be expected to participate in a 1:12 on call rota shared with Plastic surgery out of hours.

Main duties of the job
The appointed doctor will have the opportunity to attend and be involved in ward rounds, outpatient clinics and theatres. He/she will take an equal share in the management of patients within ENT and be actively involved in both emergency and elective admissions.

Quali
Essential
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification.

Eligibility
Essential
  • o At least 6 months working experience after full GMC registration with a license to practise o Previous working experience in ENT. o Eligibility to work in the UK. o Not previously relinquished, released or removed from a Core medical training programme of from a ACCS training programme except under exceptional circumstances

Clinical Knowledge & Expertise
Essential
  • Appropriate knowledge base and ability to apply sound clinical judgement to problems Previous experience in Surgery
